IC4604 and IC4603 appear around the star rho Ophiuchi, an area rich in dust and gas having many interesting features. IC4604’s faintest dust is overlaying the emission blues of IC4603 in the background, some of this dust is being illuminated by rho Ophiuchi itself. Stars along the lower right side seem to be part of IC4604 which have not been completely covered by IC4603's dust. |
